Hello! I am a licensed mental health counselor in New York with over a decade of clinical experience. I love helping my clients better understand their feelings to pursue greater fulfillment in their lives and relationships. Specifically, I work with adults navigating social and romantic relationship dynamics, sex and sexuality, and women's empowerment.
My clients are all working on different things; some are deciding if a relationship is right for them, others are wondering whether they want children, and many just want to develop deeper connection with their family and friends.
Therapy is a collaborative process and we will work as a team to increase your self-reflection and identify what feels authentic for you. Whether you have been in therapy for years or are brand new to this work, I hope to make this space accessible to you.
Credentials:
I received a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling and an advanced certificate in Grief & Trauma Counseling from Brooklyn College in 2011. In 2019, I became a Board Certified TeleMental Health Provider. In 2024, I obtained my doctorate in Human Sexuality from California Institute of Integral Studies. I have worked in substance abuse treatment centers, outpatient mental health clinics, and private practice for over 12 years.
My clinical work is informed by more than a decade of work as a sexuality scholar, clinician, educator, and policy researcher. In addition to my clinical work, I am also a professor of sexuality and mental health counseling in various graduate programs, as well as a policy analyst and researcher focused on sexual freedom, women’s rights, and reproductive health. You can read some of my publications related to this work here.
I am currently offering in-person and virtual sessions.
